2022: Rae, who should now be healthy after being plagued by injuries throughout his collegiate career, looks to compete for playing time at tight in as a redshirt junior in 2022.
2021: Rae, slowed earlier in his USC career by a knee injury, did not see action at tight end as a redshirt sophomore in 2021.
2020: Rae was sidelined during 2020 as a redshirt freshman tight end while recuperating from a lingering knee injury.
2019: Rae redshirted as a first-year freshman tight end in 2019. He spent 2019 recovering from a high school knee injury.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2018 PrepStar All-American and Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 as a senior tight end at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High. He had 7 catches for 58 yards (8.3 avg) on offense and 19 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries on defense in 2018.
He was sidelined as a 2017 junior with a torn knee ligament.
He spent his 2016 sophomore season at Servite High in Anaheim (Calif.), getting 13 catches for 192 yards (14.8 avg) with 2 TDs.
He also played basketball and baseball at Servite. Current Trojans Kyle Ford and Joshua Jackson Jr. also prepped at Orange Lutheran, while Ford also prepped at Servite.
