Jamal Boddie is in his second season as the assistant director of operations at USC. His primary duties include securing practice times and locations, equipment, coordinating all bus travel and off campus meals.
Boddie served as manager for the Arizona basketball program from 2005-09, including the 2008 season when he worked with current USC head coach Kevin O'Neill. In Boddie's four seasons working with the Wildcats, the program went 80-53, appeared in four NCAA Tournaments and reached the "Sweet 16" in his senior season. In 2010 he served as the Ticket Office intern at Fresno State, where he handled all ticket operations for the baseball, women's basketball and volleyball teams..
He co-authored "The Nerdy McFly Manifesto" with six other Arizona students which provides guidelines on how to be successful with a collection of rules, essays, poems and drawings that focus on lifestyles and choices made by the six young men from varied walks of life.
Boddie is from Memphis, Tenn. and graduated from White Station High in 2005. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Arizona in 2009. Boddie is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and lives in Los Angeles.
