Dan Heraly, a four-year-letter winning collegiate swimmer with NCAA coaching experience, is in his second year as a volunteer assistant coach at USC.
Heraly comes to USC after serving as an assistant coach at Emory & Henry College (Division 3) from 2013-16, where he helped the squad send its first swimmer to the NCAA Championships last season.
The Green Bay, Wisc., native swam for four years at Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2007-11) where he was a 2011 senior captain and helped the Panthers to back-to-back Horizon Conference team titles in 2010 and 2011. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in youth leadership in 2011.
A middle distance swimmer in college, Heraly owned the UWM’s pool record in the 500y free for four years.
