Amy Lee is a 2016 sophomore who earned a starting roll as an enrollee freshman in the spring of 2015. Now in her second year in the program, she is looking to continue her growth as she works to contribute again as a starter. 2015
Lee, who graduated from high school a semester early and enrolled at USC in January of 2015, had a solid freshman campaign while starting immediately. She finished sixth on the squad in stroke average (74.62) in 26 rounds over nine tournaments, all starts ... She had three top 10 finishes, led by a third in her collegiate debut at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at 2-under 211 (68-72-71). She was seventh at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational at 5-under 211 (76-65-70) and tied for 10th at the UC Irvine Invitational at 1-over 217 (71-73-73) ... At the 2015 NCAA Championships, she won her semifinal match play match, defeating Stanford No. 1 Mariah Stackhouse, 6&4. HIGH SCHOOL
Lee graduated from Brea Olinda High in Brea, Calif., a semester early to enroll at USC. She was the fifth-ranked player in the 2015 class, according to the Junior Golf Scoreboard. She represented the `West' team in the Wyndham Cup in 2012, 2013 and 2014. She played for the United States in the 2013 Jr. Solheim Cup and helped America win the 2014 Jr. Ryder Cup. She was named a 2013 AJGA All-American first teamer while earning second team honors in 2011, 2012 and 2014 and she won the 2013 PGA Junior Championship. She was the 2014 AJGA Girls Junior Championship runner-up, played on the 2014 U.S. World Cup team and reached the round of 32 at the 2014 U.S. Women's Amateur. PERSONAL
