Laura Freimuth enters her first season as USC's Director of Operations and sixth year overall with the Women of Troy program.
For her first two seasons with the Women of Troy, Freimuth served as a team manager, including one year as head manager in 2004-05, while completing her bachelor's degree in communications from USC's Annenberg School for Communication. She then took a position as video coordinator while earning her master's degree in Post Secondary Administration and Student Affairs from the USC Rossier School of Education.
Freimuth also played junior college basketball for two seasons at Fullerton College, serving as a team captain in 2002-03 and earning a Scholar-Athlete award in 2003. In high school, Freimuth competed in basketball, volleyball, golf and track at Henry M. Jackson High in Mill Creek, Wash., and became the first student-athlete in school history to earn 12 varsity letters. Born on April 18, 1983 in Wenatchee, Wash., she now resides in Pasadena, Calif.
