RS SENIOR/2022-23
• Starts her 2022-23 season ranked 206 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
SENIOR/2021-22
• Redshirted as a true 2021-22 senior while recovering from hip surgery.
JUNIOR/2020-21
• Nam, as a 2021 junior, saw action in six events and finished with a 74.22 stroke average to go with four top 18 finishes, highlighted by a tie for third at the USC-won Pac-12 Championships.
• Made her season debut at The Gold Rush and finished third at par 216 (71-74-74) and then matched it with her tie for third at the Pac-12s at 4-under 209 (68-72-79).
• She tied for 13th at the Silverado Showdown, including a final-round 67, and tied for 18th at the NCAA Stanford Regional, going 1-under over the final two rounds.
• She competed at the 2021 Augusta National Women’s Amateur but did not make the cut. Nam just missed making match play at the 2021 U.S. Amateur, falling in a playoff for one of the final spots.
SOPHOMORE/2019-20
• As a 2020 sophomore, registered four top 16 finishes in six starts, including a season-best tie for eighth in the season finale. Nam finished 2020 with a 73.44 stroke average, closing out the shortened campaign with a 5-over 221 (77-69-75) at the Bruin Wave Invitational for seventh career top 10 finish, her middle round a season low.
• Other top results saw a tie for 13th at the Stanford Intercollegiate at par 213 (70-72-71), a tie for 15th in the Windy City Collegiate at par 216 (74-72-70) and a tie for 16th in the Rebel Beach Intercollegiate at 4-over 220 (74-70-76). She had eight rounds of par or better.
• She reached match play at the 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur for the second year in a row, again falling in the first round. She tied for 36th in stroke play at 4-over 148 (75-73).
FRESHMAN/2018-19
• Nam earned WGCA All-American second team and All-Pac-12 first team honors as a 2019 freshman, also capturing the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year award.
• She posted eight top 12 finishes while helping USC win seven tournaments including conference and NCAA regional titles.
• Nam was third on the team in stroke average at 72.57. She had nine top 17 finishes and four in the top 7 while posting a team-high-tying seven rounds in the 60s, tied for fifth-most on USC’s all-time season chart.
• Nam almost won her debut collegiate event, taking second at 12-under 204 (69-66-69) at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate. Nam’s 12-under is tied for the fifth-most under par performance in a 54-hole event in school history. She is just one of six Trojans to post a 204 or lower.
• Nam opened her career with four straight rounds in the 60s and started her career with five straight top 12 finishes, including a tie for third in the lone East Lake Cup round and a 10th at 1-under 212 (67-74-71) at the Stanford Intercollegiate. Nam, who won her East Lake Cup match in the final against Stanford’s Ziyi Wang, 3&1, tied for second at the Silverado Showdown at par 216 (71-75-70) and tied for seventh in USC’s win at the Clover Cup at 5-over 221 (73-74-74). She tied for ninth at the NCAA Cle Elum Regional at 4-under 212 (73-70-69) and won her NCAA Championships match play match against Arizona’s Yusang Hou, 3&2.
• In April, she just missed qualifying for the U.S. Women’s Open, taking fourth in the Rancho Santa Fe qualifier.
• After the season, Nam represented the U.S. At the Arnold Palmer Cup. She posted a dominating 5&4 singles win on the final day, won her opening fourball match and was part of two ties … Nam reached the first round of the North & South Amateur Championship after tying for 27th at 8-over 148 (76-72) in stroke play. She also reached the match play of the U.S. Amateur Championship, falling in the first round.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Nam attended Kaiser High in Kailua, Hawaii, where she was a three-time state champion (2015-17-18) who also had broad success on the U.S. amateur circuit. Nam, who helped her prep team win four state titles (2015-18), reached the round of 32 at the 2017 and 2018 North & South Women’s Amateur. Also in 2017, she tied for 14th at the Girls’ Junior Americas Cup and was second at her U.S. Open qualifier.
• She finished first at the King Auto State, at the 2016 and 2017 qualifier for the IMG Junior World and at the 2015-16-17 qualifiers for the Junior PGA.
• As a 2016 junior, she was also semifinalist at the North & South, tied for 11th at the Junior PGA Championship, tied for ninth at the Canadian Women’s Amateur and reached the round of 64 at the U.S. Girls’ Junior. As a 2015 sophomore, she tied for seventh at the U.S. Girl’s Junior and reached the round of 32 at the U.S. Women’s Amateur and the U.S. Girls Junior while taking 14th at the Junior World Golf Championship. In 2014, she made the cut at the U.S. Girls’ Junior and played in the U.S. Women’s Amateur.

• She is a communication major. Her favorite hobbies include surfing and skateboarding. She has a younger sister, Brooke ... Represents the women's golf team on the Trojan Athletic Senate as a 2022-23 fifth-year senior.
