Émilie-Andrée Binder enters her first season of competition at USC.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
• A 2025 graduate of Holy Names Academy in Seattle
• Rowed for Green Lake Crew for two years
• Competed at Nationals in 2024 and 2025
• First rowing competition was at Tail of the Lake Regatta in 2023
• Also competed in swimming and diving, basketball and ultimate frisbee in high school
• An honor student, was her class valedictorian
PERSONAL: Émilie-Andrée “Em” Binder was born in Seattle.… Daughter of Josh and AP Hobbies include open water swimming, guiding canoe camping trips, surfing, playing classical guitar, sewing, crocheting and reading… Lists Caitlin Clark as her biggest sports hero… Has always wanted to hike the Camino de Santiago… Would like to travel to Donoratico, Italy; Gaspésie, Québec and Istanbul, Turkey… Hopes to pursue a career in prosthetics design for athletes… Majoring in biomechanical engineering.
