• Raced to first-place finish in 2V8+ Flight 4 race at Big Ten Invitational on April 18
• Finished fifth in 2V8+ Grand Final at Big Ten Championships

• Spring Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll
• Competed in nine regattas for USC
• Finished first in the 2V8+ at Dexter Lake Invitational
• Finished fourth in the Club 8+ at Head of Charles
2022-23 FRESHMAN SEASON

• Finished first in the 2V8+ at UCLA Dual
• Paced seventh in the 3V8+ at Pac-12 Championships

PERSONAL: Julia Karten was born Aug. 7, 2003… Daughter of Michelle and Russell… Has a brother, Ethan… Enjoys skiing, hiking, going to the beach and spending time with her friends and family in her free time… Has wanted to go kite surfing… Was a member of of GLP, a selective freshman business leadership seminar offering an opportunity to hear from business leaders across the world and develop leadership skills…Father, Russell, rowed for the club men's team at Duke as a freshman… Majoring in business administration.
