2017 (USC) - Played in 17 games as a redshirt senior in her third season with the Trojans … Scored her first career game-winning goal and earned two points in just nine minutes of play on 10/8 against Arizona State … Was selected as an honorable mention for the Pac-12 All-Academic list for the second time in her career.
2016 (USC) - Appeared in 23 games during the Trojans NCAA title season, starting eight of those, including the last seven games down the stretch during the NCAA Tournament...Tallied one goal on the year vs. Arizona (Sept. 23) and tallied two assists, first vs. Georgia (Sept. 2) and vs. her former team North Carolina (Sept. 11)... Played 49 minutes in the College Cup Final vs. West Virginia, getting the start, along with 26 minutes in the national semifinal, a game she also started.
2015 (USC) – In her first season as a Trojan, Rooney appeared in 18 of the team’s 23 games…Scored her lone goal of the year, first collegiate finish, on Oct. 17 at Oregon (4-0 victory)…Tallied six shots (two on goal) on the season…Played a total of 319 minutes, mostly in the midfield.
2014 (North Carolina): Missed part of her freshman season due to injury... Appeared in six games during UNC's run to the ACC regular-season co-championship... Earned her first collegiate point with an assist... Collected one shot on the year.
2013 (North Carolina): Redshirted her first season at UNC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated on June 23, 2013 from Hicksville High School... Played soccer at Hicksville High School from eighth grade through her junior year...was on principal's honors list all four years of high school...involved with community fundraising for Grateful Nation.
