2016-17: Delayed enrollment until the spring of 2017 season because she competed as a member of the 2016 U.S. U-20 Women’s Soccer Team in the U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papa New Guinea.
NATIONAL TEAM: Member of the U-20 U.S. Youth National Team competing in both the 2016 U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea and in the 2018 U-20 World Cup in France ... Started all three games for the U.S. in the 2018 World Cup in France, scoring four times, including a hat trick against Paraguay ... Member of the U-14, U-15, U-18 Youth National Teams as well ... Captained the U-18 team for an international friendly vs. Mexico.

FRESHMAN/2017:
- In an incredible first season on the pitch with the Trojans, DeMelo made the Pac-12 All-Freshman team and was just the fourth USC freshman to be an All Pac-12 first team honoree
- Earned a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer Best XI team along with teammate Ally Prisock
- Started every game except the opener where she entered as a sub
- Tallied 13 points, which was good for third among Trojans, finishing with four goals and five assists
- Ranked 8th in the conference in shots per game (3.00)
