Women's Golf Places 14th At NCAA Championships

Auburn, Wash. - The No. 15 USC women's golf team shot a final-round 293 on Friday to finish 14th at the 2002 NCAA Women's Golf Championships held on Washington National Golf Course.
It was the best round of the tournament for the Women of Troy, who finished with a 72-hole total of 1192.
Junior Mikaela Parmlid shot 74 to tie for 19th (292), while junior Becky Lucidi shot 74 to tie for 31st (296).
Also for USC, junior Yon Yim tied for 60th (301) and sophomore Anna Rawson tied for 73rd (303).
Duke was the winner of the team title, while Blue Devil golfer Virada Nirapathpongporn won the individual crown.
