LOS ANGELES (AP) - Kameron Gray scored 20 of his career-high 32 points in the final 10 1-2 minutes as Cal Poly rallied for a 93-78 victory against USC on Monday night.
Gray added a career-best 12 rebounds and Shane Schilling scored 24 points for the Mustangs (4-3), who have won three of four.
Desmon Farmer led the Trojans (4-4) with 29 points. Lodrick Stewart added 14 points and Errick Craven had 13.
USC held a 56-48 lead with 12:17 to play when Cal Poly went on a 13-0 surge to move ahead 61-56 with 8:20 left.
Schilling scored the run's first seven points, and Gray was fouled while making a jump shot and converted the ensuing free throw to force a 56-56 tie with 10:29 remaining.
Gray then scored 11 consecutive points in nearly 2 1/2 minutes as the Mustangs extended the margin to 74-65 with 4:47 to play.
Cal Poly made 13 of its first 18 field-goal attempts in building a 29-12 lead. But USC used a 16-0 run to force a 32-32 tie with 4:47 left in the first half.
