EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Oregon's Luke Jackson scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half as the Ducks rallied to defeat USC 75-70 on Thursday.
Jackson made 6-of-11 shots in the seconds half and also grabbed 13 rebounds. The senior became the first player in school history with three 500-point seasons. James Davis added 19 points off the bench for Oregon, while Andre Joseph scored 17.
Desmon Farmer led the Trojans with 25 points, and Jeff McMillan had 13 points and 15 rebounds. Oregon trailed by 12 points after a 3-pointer by Rory O'Neil put USC up 37-25 with 4:11 to play in the first half.
But Davis knocked down a pair of 3-pointers himself to spark an 8-2 run for the Ducks to end the half down 39-33.
Three-pointers by Jackson and Joseph in the opening minute of the second half tied the game 39-39. Minutes later, a free throw by Ian Crosswhite put the Ducks up for the first time all game, 42-41. They didn't trail the rest of the game.
Oregon's advantage grew to a game-high 10 points when Davis hit his fourth 3-pointer to put the Ducks up 61-51 with 7:26 to play.
USC would cut that down to 62-58 with just under five minutes to play following a 3-pointer by Farmer. But Davis answered with another 3 on the Ducks' next possession to keep the Trojans at bay.
