Trojans Move To Third After Stanford Intercollegiate Second Round

Junior Karen Chung fired 1-under 70 while freshman Robynn Ree remained in the top 10, the duo leading the USC women's golf team during the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Monday (Oct. 19) at the Stanford G.C.
The Trojans turned in an even second round and will enter Tuesday's final round in third at 9-over 577 (293-284), nine back of the host Cardinal and six behind UCLA.
Ree is tied for eighth at even 142 (71-73) while junior Tiffany Chan is tied for 20th at 3-over 145 (75-71). Ree was 1-over going out and even coming in with three birdies on the day while Chan had three birdies as well.
Senior Kyung Kim is tied for 26th at 5-over 147 (76-71) and Chung moved up to a tie for 39th at 6-over 148 (78-70). Kim, like, Ree, used three birdies during her even second round, as did Chung in her 1-under moving day.
Junior Gabriella Then is tied for 57th at 9-over 151 (73-78) while freshman Isabel Ji, playing individually, is tied for 78th at 15-over 157 (83-74).
USC will tee off Tuesday (Oct. 20) beginning at 9 a.m. in the leader pairing with Stanford and UCLA.
