Freshman Issei Tanabe fired a 1-under 70 and junior Justin Suh carded a 1-over 72 as the No. 15 USC men's golf team turned in a 4-over second day of The Goodwin at Harding Park in San Francisco on Friday (March 30).

The Trojans are now a combined 17-over 585 (297-288), in 21st. Oklahoma leads the event at 20-under 548.

Tanabe turned in a 2-birdie, 1-bogey effort, getting under par with a birdie on 18. He is tied for 57th at 3-over 145 (75-70).

Sophomore Cheng Jin is tied for 65th at 4-over 146 (73-73) while Suh (75-72) and freshman Kaito Onishi (74-73) are tied for 72nd at 5-over 147.

Sophomore Ryan Slater is tied for 118th at 11-over 153 (78-75). Sophomore Kyle Suppa, playing individually, is tied for 103rd at 8-over.
