Sophomore Kyle Suppa led USC with a final-round 2-under 69 while freshman Kaito Onishi finished his tournament with a 1-under 70 to lead the Trojan men's golf team in the final round of The Goodwin at Harding Park in San Francisco on Saturday (March 31).
The Trojans finished a combined 22-over 874 (297-288-289) in 18th.
Onishi turned in a 1-under final round to finish tied for 47th at 4-over 217 (74-73-70) with a two-birdie Saturday.
Junior Justin Suh finished outside the top 9 for the first time this season, tying for 65th at 6-over 219 (75-72-72). Sophomores Cheng Jin (73-73-73) and Suppa (75-75-69) joined him at 6-over after his fifth round in the 60s this season.
Freshman Issei Tanabe tied for 75th at 7-over 220 (75-70-75) and sophomore Ryan Slater tied for 113th at 14-over 227 (78-75-74).
USC wraps the regular season at the Western Intercollegiate, April 7-8, before hosting the Pac-12 Championships, April 23-25, at the Rolling Hills Country Club.
