Vissering wins 100y breast, Dixon and Dalrymple post second-place marks on springboard.
Carsten Vissering won the 100y breast while divers Caleb Dixon and Brad Dalrymple each posted a second-place finish on springboard in No 10 USC's loss at No. 1 California, 156-126, on Friday (Feb. 8) in Berkeley.
Vissering claimed his specialty with a 52.34 to win the 100y breast, USC's lone victory on the day.
Dixon, a junior, took second for the Trojans on the 1-meter springboard with a 288.30 while Dalrymple, also a junior, was second on 3-meter with 334.05.
Senior Patrick Mulcare touched second in the 100y back in 48.14. He later finished third in the 200y back in 1:47.34.
Freshman Victor Johansson was third in both the 500y (4:26.35) and 1000y free (9:07.62).
USC takes on No. 7 Stanford on Saturday at 12 p.m.
