CAROLINA TRIP - The Trojans split a pair of top-5 matchups on their weekend trip to North Carolina. USC picked up a big win over No. 4 Duke on Thursday night, taking down the Blue Devils, 3-1 in Durham, to open the trip. USC fell behind 1-0 early, but stormed back with three unanswered goals to take the match. Maribel Flores scored the equalizer for her first collegiate goal in the 37th minute, Angeles Escobar (on her birthday) scored the winner in the 62nd and Kayla Colbert put it away with a goal in the 78th. It was USC's second win in two matches against a Top 5 opponent under Head Coach Jane Alukonis (the Trojans beat No. 1 UCLA 2-0 last year) and came against the USC head coach's alma mater. The Trojans closed out the weekend in Chapel Hill, falling 4-0 to No. 3 North Carolina on Sunday.

RAWLINSON STADIUM - The Trojans also made a big announcement this past week (June 12), when the University announced plans to build a new soccer and lacrosse stadium. The $38 million project will break ground before the end of the year and is scheduled to be completed early in 2025.
