USC Women’s Golf Eyes Fourth-Straight Team Title

The Trojans head into their sixth tournament of the season, with four team titles under their belt
LOS ANGELES- No.3 USC women's golf hopes to continue its success following its third consecutive win, as they take on the Alice and John Wallace Golf Classic starting Saturday, Feb. 15, through Monday, Feb. 17, at Monterey C.C. in Palm Desert, Calif.
The Trojans are coming off three first-place team performances in their last three tournaments: the Stanford Intercollegiate, the East Lake Cup, and the Therse Hession Regional Challenge. USC also won its first tournament of the season (Leadership and Golf Invitational), which gave it four wins in five tournaments.

Jasmine Koo
Freshman Jasmine Koo heads into the tournament as the No. 2 individual in the Clippd Scoreboard Rankings. With five top-20 finishes, four top-10, and three wins, Koo leads the Trojans with a stroke average of 69.77. She tied for 4th in the Therse Hession Regional Challenge, finishing two-under par with 13 birdies and eight bogeys.
Catherine Park
Junior Catherine Park heads to Palm Desert as the No. 13 individual in the Clippd Scoreboard Rankings. She posted an even-par outing in her last tournament, claiming eight birdies and seven bogeys. Park tied for 8th, earning her fourth top-10 finish this season. She is second on the team with a stroke average of 70.85.
Bailey Shoemaker
Sophomore Bailey Shoemaker heads into the tournament as the No. 54 individual in the Clippd Scoreboard Rankings. She tied for 27th in her last tournament, finishing five-over-par with six birdies and 10 bogeys. Shoemaker is third on the team, with a stroke average of 72. 15.
Xin (Cindy) Kou
No. 109 Senior Xin (Cindy) Kou played a pivotal role in the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, as she was under par each round of the tournament, finishing five-under-par overall. Her 3rd place finish came from eight birdies and three bogeys; this was Kou's first top-10 win this season. This was the senior's best outing in a 54-hole tournament since she finished third at the ANNIKA Invitational (Sept. 11, 2021). She has a stroke average of 74.61.
Kylie Chong
Freshman Kylie Chong heads to Palm Desert as the No. 254 individual in the Clippd Scoreboard Rankings. She tied for 15th in her last tournament, finishing two-over par with eight birdies and nine bogeys. Chong earned her second top-25 finish this season and claimed her lowest score this year in the third round (70). She has a stroke average of 74.92.
Jiarui (Joyce) Jin
Redshirt junior Jiarui (Joyce) Jin will play as an individual in her first collegiate appearance in this upcoming tournament.
