
USC Men’s Tennis Finalizes Regular Season with Win

MADISON, Wis. – USC men's tennis (14-9, 8-5 Big Ten) finalized the regular season on a high note as it bested Wisconsin (9-12, 3-10 Big Ten), 4-1, on Sunday, Apr. 20 at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
The Trojans were ready for one final challenge before their inaugural Big Ten Championship appearance and showed up swinging, claiming the doubles point. The pairing of graduate student Tristan Bradley and senior Peter Makk was up to their old tricks as they won on court one. USC would drop the second court but finalize the point on court three when senior Karl Lee and freshman Connor Church defeated the Badgers pairing 6-4.
In singles play, Lee continued his trend of posting the first point of the afternoon, as he won on court No. 4 6-4, 6-0. Following him was Bradley, who posted his first Big Ten victory of the season with a 6-4, 6-2 victory. Wisconsin would get one back on the court No. 2, but eventually finish it as Church would win in three sets 7-5, 1-6, 6-4.
The Trojans earned the No. 6 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will play the No. 3 seed at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET on Friday, Apr. 25 in Columbus, Ohio.
