This is the first meeting between the two teams. USC is 1-1 this season against teams they played for the first time (W, Saint Josephs & L, Maryland).
The Trojans are 68-33 all-time in road games and 1-1 in Big Ten road games.
USC is 22-13 all-time versus current Big Ten teams.
The Women of Troy were recently picked to finish sixth out of nine squads in their inaugural Big Ten Preseason Poll.
USC is fresh off a streak of five straight top-25 teams, including two top-10 teams. During that stretch, it went 1-4 with a lone win at No. 19 Ohio State.
Trojan-Scarlet Knight connections: USC's sophomore transfer Reese Robinson was a part of the Rutgers squad as a freshman in 2024. Assistant coach Cassidy Spilis was a legend for the Scarlet Knights, as she graduated from the program as the all-time leader in career points (281), goals (266) and draw controls (313).
Lindsey Munday was selected as the U.S. Women's Sixes National Team Head Coach on Apr. 9. Munday will oversee this new version of play for the National Team, as her appointment will end in 2026. Sixes will be featured in the 2028 Olympics as lacrosse will make its Olympic debut in Los Angeles.
The Trojans will play this season in two different venues, as they will open at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum but will play seven of their nine home games at Dignity Health Sports Park. The brand-new Rawlinson Stadium is set to open in 2026.
USC is currently ranked No. 22 in the ninth-week edition of the IWLCA Poll.
The Trojans are 22-22 all-time in the Eastern Time Zone and are 1-1 this season (W, Ohio State & L, Michigan).
Stats to Know: Dora is 7th in the NCAA for goals with 50 in 13 games, her average of 3.85 goals per game is 12th in the country. Redshirt senior Isabelle Vitale's 37 assists is 11th in the NCAA. Her 62 points are ranked 18th in the NCAA.
Three Trojans are on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, as senior Catherine Lord was on the initial list. Vitale and Dora joined Lord on the list as part of the first additions to the list.
Senior Alexis Niblock and Dora were named as part of the ILWomen Midseason All-Americans Honorable Mention List (March 27).
Vitale continues to etch her name into the program history books as she is first in program history with 147 assists. The redshirt senior has accumulated five or more points in seven of the 13 games this season.
Sophomore Anna Regan will highlight the draw circle, as last season, she posted 122 draw controls, which is tied for the fourth most in a single season by a Trojan. Regan broke the single-game mark for draw controls against Marist, as she had 20 against the Red Foxes. The sophomore is 20th in the NCAA with 7.46 draw controls per game. She is three draw controls away from her second-straight season of 100 or more draw controls.
Five Trojans have posted hat tricks this season, with Dora leading the charge with 11 in 13 games. Freshman Kaylee Fravert is the lone freshman on the list and is the first freshman to post a hat trick since 2022.
