QUOTEABLE:
"We have taken steps and progressed throughout the year and this team is certainly good enough to the make the NCAA Finals," head coach Mark Hankins said. "It's a normal tournament format for us and one that we just played at the Big Ten Championships. We learned from that and will work over the next three days to stay in the present and play well."
"We haven't made regionals in a few years now, so it's cool to put ourselves back in contention to get back to the National Championships finals," Jerge said. "I think we're just really excited … we are going to show up and compete."
"This is my first regional, it's pretty cool to get one of these under the belt early and the team's excited," Buchanan said. "As a team we know that we are starting a new season, we know we need to get top five to carry on the season, so we're going to give it everything we got."
