No. 4 USC Women's Golf Moves Into First Place After Round Two

Four Trojans sit in the Top 10 of the individual standings.
WOLCOTT, Colo. – No. 4 USC Women's Golf returned to the Red Sky Golf Club for the second round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic. The Women of Troy had a phenomenal showing on the green today as they now sit in first place.
The best individual performance came from Jasmine Koo, who moved herself into first place individually heading into the final round of competition. She started the day with four birdies in five holes, ultimately getting seven on the day. With this performance, she finished four strokes under par to jump up to the top of the leaderboard.
Tied for second place individually is none other than Kylie Chong, who is sitting in third place following today's round. Chong was even through the first nine holes before registering three birdies in the back nine to finish two under par for the day. Today's round lands her one stroke behind Koo, who is tied for first.
Both Elise Lee and Sarah Hammett had strong performances as they are both in the Top 10 on the leaderboard following today's round. Lee is currently tied for sixth place. She started the day with four straight birdies, which allowed her to stay four under par. Hammett continues to move up the standings as she went -2 in this second round.
The Women of Troy followed up their stellar performance from yesterday by going 12-under-par as a team again today. This round allowed the Trojans to sit at -24 after the two rounds, putting them 10 strokes ahead of the second-place team.
The final round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic will begin tomorrow morning, Sept. 24, at 9 a.m. PT. To follow along with all of the action, check out live results at GolfStat.
LEADERBOARD
