The Trojans shared the tournament title last year with Rice.
DALLAS — The No. 22 USC men's golf team begins the second half of the fall slate at the Trinity Forest Invitational, held at the Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, Texas from Oct. 4-6.
The Trojans will play one round per day at the par-72, 7617-yard course, starting tomorrow at 7 a.m. PT. Live scoring links via Scoreboard will be provided on the men's golf team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
At this tournament last year, USC shared the team title with Rice with a score of 832 (-32), which was part of a historic start to the fall season under Head Coach Mark Hankins. Then-sophomore Jaden Dumdumaya fired a 63 in the final round, which tied for the second-best round in school history, en route to tying for third place.
USC is coming off a third-place finish at the Vuori Invitational in San Diego three weeks ago. Led by Dumdumaya's 63 in the final round, the Trojans made moves on the final day to earn their best team finish of the season. Fellow junior Jack Buchanan led the team by tying for 10th place with a 214 (+1), while Dumdumaya (T-16), Joshua Hong (T-20) and Nicolas Dominguez (T-22) gave USC all four of its scorers in the top 25.
