The Trojans will host the Cornhuskers in Los Angeles for the first time since 2011.

LOS ANGELES – USC Men's Basketball (18-10, 7-10 Big Ten) will host the No. 12 Nebraska Cornhuskers (24-4, 13-4 Big Ten) on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Galen Center. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. The Trojans and Cornhuskers met last season in Lincoln, with the Trojans coming out with a 78-73 win.

LAST TIME OUT
USC Men's Basketball fell 82-61 in the crosstown showdown against UCLA on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Pauley Pavilion. The Trojans trailed by nine points at the half, and despite early scoring out of the break, the Bruins widened the gap behind a 58% field-goal shooting performance during the second half.

Chad Baker-Mazara scored a team-high 25 points on five three-pointers made. Tuesday marked his 11th occasion scoring 20 or more points. Alijah Arenas also contributed double figures.

SCOUTING THE CORNHUSKERS

Nebraska has two ranked wins on the season, including an 83-80 victory over then-No. 13 Illinois and a 58-56 win over then-No 9 Michigan State.
Marking a new program record, the Cornhuskers were one of three teams to start with a 20-0 performance (with Arizona and Miami Ohio). It's also the first 20-win season for Nebraska.
Ahead of Saturday's game, Nebraska is one of three teams in the Big Ten to average a double-digit scoring margin (10.2) over conference opponents. The other two teams are Michigan (16.1) and Illinois (11.7).

Pyrce Sandfort leads the Big Ten in three-pointers made per game (3.2), landing above a 40-percent mark from beyond the arc. He is a key contributor to Nebraska's leading the Big Ten in downtown shooting during conference play.
Also the team's best scorer, Sandfort scores nearly 18 points per game.
Sam Hoiberg puts up the best assist-to-turnover ratio (4.96) in the conference (15+ games played), dishing out nearly five assists per outing.
Nebraska recently defeated Maryland 74-61 on Feb. 25. The Cornhuskers went on an 18-3 run in the second half to erase a deficit and come out of Wednesday's matchup with their second consecutive win. Braden Frager posted 21 points and eight rebounds.
The program is led by eighth-year head coach Fred Hoiberg. Last year, he notched a 21-win season and the school's first College Basketball Crown title. Hoiberg was also a co-Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2024.
