The Trojans will return 11 point scorers from last year's championships
LINCOLN, Neb. – The USC track and field team will compete in their second Big Ten Outdoor Championships this Friday in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Trojans look to build on their performance from last year's championships, where the women's team came out on top, and the men's team took fourth place.

A total of 42 Trojans will take the stage at this year's championships. On the women's side, the roster includes Asjah Atkinson, Oluwatosin Awoleye, Anisa Bowen-Fontenot, Takiya Cenci, Dajaz Defrand, Ashley Erasmus, Jada Foreman, Jenna Gallaway, Reese Garland, Lillian Harden, Falyn Lott, Christine Mallard, Madison Mosby, Karyssa Owens, Olivia Pace, Lauren Reed, Brianna Selby, Joelle Trepagnier, Rachael Uvieghara, and Madison Whyte.
On the men's side, Jacob Andrews, Racquil Broderick, Elias Gerald, Garrett Kaalund, Jaelen Knox, Max Lampinen, Mico Lampinen, Wiaan Martin, Yougendy Mauricette, Chase McCallum, Nickolas Miller, Matteo Mitchell, Edward Nketia, Jackson Norris, Jack Stadlman, Tom Tersek and Vincent Ugwoke are expected to represent USC.
LAST TIME OUT
At the USC-UCLA Dual Meet, the Trojans split the win against the UCLA Bruins. The Women of Troy won by a landslide, outscoring the Bruins 93-69, while the men fell 87-76 in a close matchup.
Despite a split team win, the Trojans swept all four relays, setting a new meet and facility record in the women's 4x400 relay, where Christine Mallard, Mia Brahe-Pedersen, Madison Whyte and Dajaz DeFrand ran the No. 4 time in USC history at 42.29. Overall, the Trojans took home a total of 20 event wins across the weekend.
2025 BIG TEN OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
USC had a strong showing at its first Big Ten Outdoor Championships, with the women winning the team title and the men finishing fourth.
The women return with a deep roster of key contributors, including Whyte, Defrand, Cenci, Mallard, Erasmus, Pace and Selby. Several returners bring championship experience, highlighted by Whyte's individual Big Ten titles and relay wins, as well as the 4x100m and 4x400m relay groups that claimed titles at the meet. This depth puts the Women of Troy in a strong position moving forward.
On the men's side, returners like Mauricette, the reigning Big Ten 400m hurdles champion, along with Andrews, Nketia and Broderick lead a solid group that has proven its place in championship competition.
