LOS ANGELES – The USC women's soccer team exploded for four late goals at home on Thursday night, taking down New Mexico State 4-0 in a nonconference matchup.

Jordan Hill broke a scoreless tie in the 61^st minute and USC would add three more in the final 11 minutes of play as the Trojans move to 1-2-1 with the victory. New Mexico State falls to 1-4-0 with the loss.

Hill finished a pass from Rhea Moore in the 61^st minute that was originally called offsides but upon review was ruled a goal, giving the freshman the first strike of her career.

Lily Biddulph would net two goals in less than two minutes, scoring in the 80^th and 81^st minutes to make it 3-0. Biddulph collected a rebound in front of the net and punched it home and then finished a nice sequence from Rhiannon Mahon and Sophia Cavaliere to complete the brace just over 90 seconds later.

It would be Lauder Headrick who would cap the scoring in the 84^th minute as Eleanor Morrissey found Hill near the top of the area and Hill flicked a ball over to Headrick for the finish. It was Headrick's first career goal as well.

Josie Biehl picked up her first career shutout in goal on the night, needing to make just one save in the effort.
