USC Men’s Basketball to Play North Carolina in Preseason Exhibition Game

LOS ANGELES — The USC Men's Basketball team will head east to face North Carolina in a preseason exhibition game at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. on Friday, Oct. 9.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster. If available, broadcast information will be shared at a later date.
The contest will be a matchup between two former NBA head coaches: Head Coach Eric Musselman was the head coach for the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, while 12-year NBA head coach Michael Malone begins his first season at North Carolina.
North Carolina is coming off a 24-9 season in which they earned a 6-seed and fell to VCU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Tar Heels' incoming recruiting class ranks No. 10 in ESPN's final class rankings.
The Trojans will look to improve upon last year's 18-14 record with three returners, seven transfers and the No. 5 recruiting class in ESPN's rankings, which is USC's second-best recruiting class since ESPN started tracking that data in 2007. A full schedule is forthcoming.
