2017: Rubschlager appeared in 11 games as a sophomore... Made 39 saves and allowed 21 goals... Averaged 8.67 saves and 4.67 goals-against per game... Had a season-high seven saves in three periods of work vs. Santa Clara... Saw time in the opening games of the MPSF Tournament and NCAA Tournament.
2016: Rubschlager appeared in four games as a true freshman... Collected 16 saves and allowed just seven goals... Set career high with eight saves in his debut, giving up just one goal in his first two periods of work as a Trojan.HIGH SCHOOL: Rubschlager was an All-CIF first team pick as a senior out of Loyola High in Los Angeles... Also was named a first team All-American in 2015... A two-time all-league first team selection... Named to All-CIF third team in 2014... Played club for Rose Bowl and Trojan Water Polo... Also competed at the 2015 ODP 18-under regional championships.
PERSONAL: Rubschlager is majoring in business... Parents are Gerald and Grayce... Has one brother, Carl, and one sister, Katherine... His brother Carl is a goalkeeper on the LMU men’s soccer team... Enjoys snowboarding in his free time... Lists USC coach Marko Pintaric as his biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to skydive... Hopes to travel to Australia, Bora Bora and Fiji...
