Bio
CAREER: In his 5-year career at Washington State (2018-22), he has appeared in 37 games on the offensive line with 26 starts (16 starts at left guard and 10 starts at left tackle).
2023: Kingston, an experience offensive linemen who transferred to USC in the spring of 2023 from Washington State, looks to make an immediate impact on the Trojan offensive line as a redshirt senior.
WASHINGTON STATE: Kingston started for his second season on the offensive line as a redshirt senior at Washington State in 2022. He was named to the 2022 All-Pac-12 Conference Honorable Mention. He started first nine games of the season at left tackle. In the Cougar’s win over Idaho, he earned the best run-block grade among all Pac-12 offensive line and the eighth-best in the country by PFF. He was named the Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in Washington State’s 17-14 win at No. 19 Wisconsin allowing 0 pressures in 50 snaps. He suffered season-ending leg injury versus Stanford. He did not allow a sack in 398 pass snaps and earned the third-best pass-blocking grade among Pac-12 offensive tackles according to PFF.
As a redshirt junior in 2021, he started in all 13 games of the season – the first 12 games at left guard and the final game at left tackle at the Sun Bowl against Central Michigan.
He started all four games at left guard in the abbreviated 2020 Pac-12 season as a redshirt sophomore.
As a redshirt freshman in 2019, he appeared in 10 games at left guard against New Mexico State, Northern Colorado, UCLA, Colorado, at California, Stanford, Oregon State and at Washington.
He redshirted in 2018 and appeared in just one game against Washington.
HIGH SCHOOL: He was named to the 2017 All-NorCal Offense by SportStar Magazine as a senior on the offensive line. Defensively, he recorded 53 tackles with 30.0 for loss including 15 sacks, and 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.
He earned 2016 All-CIF Northern Section First Team honors as a junior on defense after making 56 tackles with 20.5 tackles-for-loss including 8.5 for sacks.
He also competed in track and placed first in the state in the discus (156-1).
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Washington State. He is currently pursuing a certificate in Gerontology at USC with a 3.30 GPA. His cousin, Daniel Marx, was a fullback at Stanford (2014-17).
