Bio
CAREER: In his 4-year career (3 years at Alabama and 1 year at USC), he has made 175 tackles, including 15.5 for losses (with 9.5 sacks), plus 3 INTs (1 of which he ran back for a TD), 3 forced fumbles, 2 pass deflections, a fumble recovery and a QB hurry while appearing in 42 games (with 25 starts).
2023: Lee, a returning Trojan captain, returns to make an impact at inside linebacker as a redshirt senior in 2023.
2022: Lee contributed in 13 games (all but Washington State due to injury) with 12 starts as a senior in 2022. He was named an All-Pac-12 honorable mention. In his first year with the Trojans, he collected up 78 total tackles (second on the team), including 7.5 for loss of 32 yards (with 3.5 sacks) and 1 QB hurry. He also tallied 2 INTs (tied for third on the team) and 1 pass breakup.
He had 8 tackles, including 2 for loss, 1 INT (which he ran back 40 yards for a TD) and 1 pass breakup against Rice. He had 61 tackles, including 4.5 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 3 deflections and a fumble recovery in 2018.
He made 2017 MaxPreps Junior All-American first team and All-Metro as a junior when he had 78 tackles (with 2 sacks), 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. St. Frances went 13-0 and won the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference championship.
As a sophomore in 2016, he attended St. John’s College High in Washington, D.C. Current Trojan Sam Greene also prepped at St. Frances.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Alabama in December of 2021. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Aging Services Management at USC with a 3.33 GPA. He made the 2020 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll and received Alabama’s 2021 Commitment to Academic Excellence Award.
