2023: Rose will return as USC’s holder and will compete for playing time at punter as a redshirt senior in 2023.
2022: Rose served as the holder on all placekicks and was a backup punter as a redshirt junior in 2022. He saw action in all 14 games as the holder. He scored on a 2-point conversion trick play as he rushed into the end zone against Colorado.
2021: Rose did not see action as a backup punter as a redshirt sophomore in 2021.
2020: Rose did not see action as a backup punter as a redshirt freshman in 2020.
2019: Rose redshirted as a first-year freshman punter in 2019.
HIGH SCHOOL: He averaged 38.6 yards on 21 punts as a 2018 senior punter at St. John Bosco High in Bellflower (Calif.), with none returned and all but 2 fair caught. He also caught a 3-yard TD pass in 2018. It was his first year as a punter after playing wide receiver. Current Trojans Jude Wolfe, Kobe Pepe and Matt Colombo also prepped at St. John Bosco.
He also played baseball at St. John Bosco.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development in summer 2023 from USC and will begin his master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship.
