Bio
THIS SEASON:
Reed Doucette, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound senior in 2007, is an experienced forward that adds depth to the team and is a strong practice player.
2005-06:
Appeared in just four games for the Trojans and had one rebound, while going 0-for-3 from the field. Played a total of seven minutes, three vs. UC Riverside, two vs. Western Michigan and one each vs. North Carolina A&T and at Washington. Given the James Zumberge Award for highest grade point average on the team at the team awards dinner. Also won a Tommy Award for the highest male student-athlete GPA (3.97) at the first annual Tommy Athletic Awards on April 27, presented by the Student Athlete Advisory Council.
2004-05:
Appeared in eight games for the Trojans and scored six points in 10 minutes played. Made all three shots that he took during the season and grabbed four rebounds. Played in his first game as a Trojan on Dec. 28 vs. Southern and made the most of it, hitting both shots he took and grabbing two rebounds in three minutes played.
2003-04:
Was a freshman walk-on, but did not appear in any games.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played four years at small forward at Lodi (Calif.) High, averaging 14.3 points per game as a senior in 2003. Earned San Joaquin Athletic Association all-league honrs as a junior and senior. He was class valedictorian in his senior year at Lodi High.
PERSONAL:
Doucette was born on April 7, 1985. His major at USC is mechanical engineering with a minor in business. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and is a Dean[apos]s List student. Would like someday to win a Nobel Prize and an Academy Award. He likes to watch 'The Daily Show' and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and lists 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' as his favorite movie. Says his favorite food is a T-bone steak, his favorite recording artist is Slightly Stoopid and biggest sports hero is Michael Jordan. His hobbies include wakeboarding, skiing and tennis.
