He led Prolific Prep to the prestigious GEICO High School Basketball National Tournament, where Prolific Prep upset the No. 1 team in the country, Sunrise Christian Academy (KS), 59-56, to advance to the semifinals, before losing a close game to No. 4 Link Academy (MO). He was an A-B honor roll all four years.
