Freshman Yi Keun Chang came to USC as one of the top prep golfers in the country last year and has carved out an immediate role in the starting lineup and has been one of the Trojans[apos] most reliable players. Chang earned GCAA All-Freshman team honors as a 2013 freshman, finishing second on the Trojans in stroke average (71.78, 0.02 out of the top spot) and led the Trojans in rounds in the 60s with nine. He was USC[apos]s top finisher in four events, including at the 2013 NCAA Championships, where he tied for 16th at 3-under 207 (71-66-70) ... He won the North Ranch Intercollegiate with a 2-under 211 (70-68-73), one of his four top 10 and eight top 20 finishes on the season. HIGH SCHOOL
Chang prepped at Southland Christian School in Bellflower, Calif. As a senior, he was ranked eighth by Junior Golf Scoreboard and second in the 2012 California class. He was a 2010 Rolex Junior All-American first teamer and All-America honorable mention in 2011. Among his notable junior titles were back-to-back wins in the 2010 and 2011 L.A. City Junior Golf Championship. Chang has also had multiple top 15 finishes in AJGA invitationals.
