2017: Elizabeth Doty completed her Trojan career in the fall of 2017, her final semester at Troy. She played in three events, sporting a stroke average of 77.25 in eight rounds with a season-best of 74. Her best finish was a tie for 45th at the Stanford Intercollegiate at 10-over 152 (75-77).
2016: Doty saw action in one event as a 2016 junior, tying for 65th at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at 23-over 236 (78-82-76).
2015: Doty played in four events as a 2015 sophomore after transferring to USC from Wake Forest, finishing with a stroke average of 76.08 ... She posted a season-best tie for 25th at the Annika Intercollegiate at 3-over 219 (72-74-73), her three rounds there good for her top three rounds of the season. She also tied for 41st at both the Windy City Collegiate and at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview.
Wake Forest: Doty played in eight of 10 events for the Demon Deacons as a 2014 redshirt freshman, finishing third on the team with a stroke average of 75.57. She posted a pair of top 20 finishes, including as an individual at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, where she tied for 18th at 4-over 220 (74-72-74). She also topped Wake Forest's efforts at the 2014 ACC Championship, tying for 15th at 12-over 225 (75-75-75). Her first collegiate round, a 71 at the Cougar Classic, was her season best ... She enrolled at Wake Forest in the spring of 2013 but redshirted her first season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Doty prepped at Palos Verdes (Calif.) High, where she was a four-time team MVP, a three-time captain and a four-time all-conference first teamer ... Doty, who led her team to the 2012 CIF Southern Section Central Division title, was a four-time WSCGA Southern California Regional individual finalist ... She qualified for the 2012 US Girl's Junior Championship and the 2010 and 2011 US Women's Amateur Public Links Championships ... A National Merit Commended Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society, she represented Southern California in the 2010 Girls Junior America's Cup.
PERSONAL: Doty was born Sept., 6, 1994, and she is the daughter of Martha and Andrew Doty. She is majoring in business administration.
