THIS SEASON: Georgia Carr is a 2020 sophomore from Milltown, Ireland, with international experience who will compete for playing time in her second year on the team.
2019: Carr saw action in one event as a 2019 freshman, tying for 30th at the UC Irvine Invitational with a 7-over 223 (78-70-75).
HIGH SCHOOL: Carr attended Prime Golf Academy in Mougins, France. She was a member of the Irish National team and formerly its Under 16 team. The accomplished international
amateur finished 10th in the Welsh Ladies Open Strokeplay in 2018 and tied for fifth at the 2018 Irish Ladies’ Golf Union. She played as the No. 1 seed on the 2017 All-Ireland Interprovincial Championship and was Top 5 in the 2017 Ireland Girls Order of Merit. She was ranked in the top 20 among all Irish Amateurs. Her junior wins included the Grand Prix golf du Claux-Amic and the Grand Prix Garden Golf d’Avignon in 2016, and at the Under 18 Royal County Down Scratch Cup and Under 18 Lahinch Scratch Cup in 2017.
