This Season
As the lone senior defender, Goza provides stability for a young team. She has the capability of being the field general for the team.
2003
For the second year in a row, Goza started in every game as a 2003 junior...registered her first career assist on Sept. 26 in a 3-0 upset win at No. 13 Santa Clara.
2002
After her left ankle injury from the previous season, Goza returned to start in every game for the Women of Troy as a 2002 redshirt sophomore...registered five shots on the season.
2001
She sat out her 2001 sophomore season with a left ankle injury...played in only one match, but was able to redshirt because of the injury.
2000
Goza proved to be a tenacious defender in her 2000 freshman season, playing in 21 of 22 games...started in three games, including the second round match of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 11 at UCLA...recorded a total of three shots during the team[apos]s road trip at Arizona and Arizona State.
High School
Goza earned three-time all-league honors at Carondelet High in Walnut Creek, Calif...led a defense that allowed only four goals in her junior and senior years...team was ranked No. 1 in the nation by USA Today...two-time all-county selection and was named three times to the Nor-Cal state team...also earned All-Far West honors...was a member of Carondelet[apos]s student council and honor roll.
Personal
She is majoring in communications...enjoys watching any show after 8 p.m. on MTV...has one brother, Michael, and one sister, Michelle...lists The Big Lebowski as her favorite movie....likes to water and snow ski, as well as spending time in Lake Tahoe in her spare time...birthdate is May 17, 1982.
