Ree Leads Trojans At Stanford Intercollegiate First Round

Freshman Robynn Ree fired a 1-under 70 to lead the No. 1 USC women's golf team during the first round of the 2015 Stanford Intercollegiate at the Stanford (Calif.) G.C., on Sunday (Oct. 18).
The Trojans, seeking their second win this season, combined for a 9-over 293, six back of host Stanford. Fellow Pac-12 foes UCLA and Washington are tied for second at 5-over 289 while Georgia is fourth at 7-over 291.
Ree, second in her debut as a Trojan in USC's season opener at the Annika Intercollegiate, is tied for third after 18 holes at 1-under, four back of Pepperdine's Marissa Chow.
Junior Gabriella Then, with a pair of top 20 finishes to her credit and four in a row dating back to last season, is tied for 15th at 2-over 73. Junior Tiffany Chan, boasting a pair of top 14 finishes so far, is tied for 25th at 3-over 74.
Senior Kyung Kim is tied for 55th at 5-over 76 while junior Karen Chung, after posting two top 2 finishes to start the season, is tied for 75th after one round at 7-over 78.
Freshman Isabel Ji, playing individually, posted a 12-over 83 today.
USC will begin second-round play at 9:15 a.m. Monday (Oct. 19).
