The Trojans defeated California, 16-5, in the semifinals and then stunned second-seeded Colorado in a dominant 12-3 win for the championship. Junior attacker Izzy McMahon scored a career-high five goals in the win over the Golden Bears and was one of 10 Trojans to score at least one goal against Cal. Sophomore midfielder Kelsey Huff racked up her eighth hat trick of the season and sophomore goalie Riley Hertford put up 11 saves to propel the Trojans to their win over the Buffaloes. McMahon, Huff, sophomore defender Lizzy Wagner, and junior midfielder Kerrigan Miller were each chosen to the Pac-12 all-tournament team. Miller was named the tournament's MVP.
USC IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT: The Trojans are the only team from the West Coast ever to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals. USC has appeared in the NCAA tournament four times (2015-17, '19) and advanced to the quarters in both 2016 and 2017. The Trojans are 4-3 all-time in tournament games.

AND THE WINNER IS: USC racked up several of the Pac-12's postseason awards including Coach of the Year, Lindsey Munday, Defensive Player of the Year, Jackie Gilbert; and Midfielder of the Year Kerrigan Miller. Munday received her third-career league coach of the year honor after being selected twice in the MPSF. Gilbert's player of the year honor is her first, but Miller repeats as the Pac-12's middy of the year. Previously, the fewest goals ever allowed by USC was one in a 19-1 victory over Fresno State (April 20, 2013). Before the first season of Pac-12 lacrosse, Colorado recorded two shutouts and makes the Trojans' the first by a Pac-12 team since CU's 23-0 win over Saint Mary's College in the MPSF on April 15, 2016.
JUST LIKE THEY DRAW IT UP: Senior defender Jackie Gilbert set a new USC record with 17 draw controls in a single game against Arizona State (April 20). She broke a record previously held by All-American Michaela Michael of 15 set in 2015. Gilbert also became only the third Trojan to cross the 200-career draw control mark and now has 219. Gilbert's 116 draw controls this season ranks third in single-season USC history and make her only the third Trojan to collect 100 or more in a season (Michael and Amanda Johansen are the others).
