INSIDE THE LINEUP:
 Â
Catherine Park
Â
Park enters into the tournament as the hottest hitter for the Trojans, as she claimed the Stanford Intercollegiate individual title (-7) and earned Pac-12 Golfer of the Week. That title was the sophomore's first, as she had finished second or tied for second three other times. Park's successful week gave her a considerable boost overall, as she moved 28 spots last week in the World Amateur Golf Rankings to No. 47.
Â
Xin (Cindy) Kou
Â
Kou finished third amongst the team at two-over-par and tied for 26th in the tournament. The junior struggled in the second round with a 75 (+4) but found significant success at two-under in the first and third. Kou makes her fourth start of the season and her second straight for USC.
Â
Amari Avery
Â
Avery returns to the Trojans after missing the Stanford Intercollegiate because she played in the LPGA Q-Series Stage II. The junior hopes to continue the dominance that she left on as she has one win this season (Leadership and Golf Invitational, Sept. 18-19) and led the Trojans with a three-under-par finish at the Windy City Collegiate Classic (Oct. 2-4). This will be Avery's fourth start of the season.Â
Â
Bailey Shoemaker
Â
Shoemaker posted her highest collegiate finish in her short career as she tied for seventh at the Stanford Intercollegiate. The freshman is starting in her fourth event this season and is playing in her fifth event, as she participated as an individual at the Windy City Collegiate Classic.Â
Â
Brianna Navarrosa
Â
Navarrosa is starting in her fifth event this season. The senior posted the best finish of her career at the Leadership and Golf Invitational by being tied for second. Navarrosa also gave USC its final counting score of the latest tournament (Stanford Intercollegiate). She posted a four-over-tournament, which was good for a tie for 29th place.Â
