USC Men's Basketball Returns Home Hosting California Thursday

Trojans have won last 12 games at the Galen Center
The USC Trojans (17-8, 9-5) will host the California Golden Bears (3-22, 2-12) at the Galen Center on Feb. 16 at 7:00 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start. The game will air on the FS1 with Alex Faust and Casey Jacobsen calling the action.Â
USC'S STELLAR STRETCH -- USC won a school-record 73 games over the last three seasons (22 in 2020, 25 in 2021 and 26 in 2022). The previous school record for wins in three consecutive seasons was 71 (2016-18). The three consecutive seasons of 20+ wins also equals the school record for most consecutive 20-win seasons set from 2016-18. Â
WINNING WAYS -- USC's 73 total wins the previous three seasons tied for the third most among all Power 6 basketball programs, trailing only the last two NCAA champions Kansas (83) and Baylor (81). Also, USC's 160 wins the previous seven seasons ranked 13th among all Power 6 conference teams.
ENFIELD WINS 200TH AS HEAD OF THE USC PROGRAM -- USC head coach Andy Enfield is in his 10th season at USC and has compiled an 200-126 record. He picked up his 200th win on Feb. 4 vs. Washington. Enfield's win total ranks fourth on USC's all-time wins list, trailing only Sam Barry (260), Forrest Twogood (251) and Bob Boyd (216). Including his two seasons as the head coach at FGCU (2012-13), Enfield has compiled a 241-154 record.
FACING CALIFORNIA -- The California Golden Bears (3-22, 2-12) are coming off a 70-62 overtime loss to Arizona State at home on Feb. 11. California has lost its last nine games. Junior guard Devin Askew leads California in scoring with a 15.5 points per game average. USC defeated California 66-51 in the Bay Area on Nov. 30 to run its winning streak to 9 games against the Golden Bears. USC trails in the all-time series ,131-136* (1 win vacated due to NCAA penalty, original record 132-136).
STANFORD ON DECK -- USC's next game will be vs. the Stanford Cardinal (11-14, 5-9) on Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the Galen Center. Stanford is coming off an 88-79 home win over then No. 4 Arizona on Feb. 11. The Cardinal have won 6 of their last 8 games. Senior forward Spencer Jones leads Stanford with a 13.7 scoring average. This is the only meeting between USC and Stanford this season. USC lost twice to Stanford last season, falling 64-61 at home and 75-69 at Staford. USC trails in the all-time series 128-129 (1 win vacated due to NCAA penalty, orginal record 129-129).

JEKYLL & HYDE FROM WAY OUTSIDE -- USC made 47.4 percent of its 3-pointers vs. Washington State on Feb. 2, its eighth game this season making at least 38 percent from 3-point range. In those eight games USC has made 45.5 percent of its 3-pointers (75-for-165), while it has averaged 23.2 percent from beyond the arc in the other 17 games (65-for-280). USC made 1 of 14 three-pointers (.071) at Oregon State on Feb. 11, the lowest three-point shooting game by USC in the Andy Enfield era.
