Catherine ParkÂ
Â
Park has been sensational throughout the season but has found a new gear towards the latter half. During this season, the sophomore has posted three wins and seven top-ten finishes. Park has won two individual titles in her last three tournaments and placed tied for fifth in her latest result at the NCAA East Lansing Regional. Her three wins this season are the Stanford Intercollegiate (Oct. 22), the Silverado Showdown (Apr. 10) and the Pac-12 Championship (Apr. 23). Her three wins this season ties her with fellow Trojan Amari Avery (2022) and Alumni Sophia Popov (2011) for fourth in program history. Park currently leads the team with a 70.52 stroke average. If that mark holds up, she is on pace to break the single-season mark set by Annie Park in 2013 (71.36). Park also boasts nine top-25 and seven top-ten finishes. The sophomore recently tied the single-season mark for par or better rounds as she is tied with Annie Park (2014) at 22. Park hopes to repeat her success from last year, as she finished up as the runnerup at the National Championship.Â
Bailey Shoemaker
Â
The freshman had her best finish of her young career, as she took home a second-place finish at the NCAA East Lansing Regional. During that tournament Shoemaker broke the course record in round one, as she carded a 65 (-7) at the Forest Akers West Course. That performance helped her stroke average for the season, as she now ranks third on the team with a 72.50 average. Shoemaker also now has three top-ten and six top-25 finishes on the season.Â
Â
Brianna Navarrosa
The senior has put up back-to-back solid starts as she finished with a tie for 16th at the NCAA Regional and before that placed in a tie for 4th at the Pac-12 Championship. Navarrosa is tied for second on the team with five rounds in the 60s as she had two in the Pac-12 Championship. Navarrosa finished in a tie for 61st in last years NCAA Championship.Â
Â
Amari Avery
Â
Avery hopes to rebound, as she finished in a tie for 34th at the NCAA Regional. The junior is second on the team in stroke average with a 71.62 per round average. She hopes to find her momentum again, as she last placed within the top-ten at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational on Mar. 4.Â
Xin (Cindy) Kou
Â
The junior is once again making the start after she served as the sub at the NCAA East Lansing Regional. During her last start she finished in tie for 37th at the Pac-12 Championship after going six-over-par in 54 holes. Kou last placed within the top-ten at the East Lake Cup, as she finished tied for second in the one round of stroke play.Â
