Quotable:
"We approach this championship as just another tournament, because our finish counts for wins and losses and our overall goal of earning a national ranking high enough to advance to the NCAA tournament," head coach Mark Hankins said. "This is a classic golf course that has hosted most of the major championships around golf. The grass is a little different, but the greens are big and challenging, like some we experience in LA. We have 5 solid players that are all competing, and this will give us a nice team depth advantage that we plan to use throughout the event. Stay in the present, stay positive and play with patience. It's the same message every day, all year."
"The key to this tournament is to treat it the same as every other tournament," Safa said. "For this tournament my goal is to stay focused on my process, my routines and having that consistency."
"We've been putting a lot of effort in, and it might be Big Ten's, but we've been following the same motives that we've always been following," Dumdumaya said. "I've learned a lot this year, the more I play the more I grow, so I'm looking to keep learning, and using what I learned."
