USC Men’s Basketball Unveils Non-Conference Schedule

The Trojans will play six home games and 10 games in the state of California.
LOS ANGELES — Six home contests and 10 regular-season games in the state of California highlight the USC men's basketball team's non-conference schedule, which was announced Monday.
The Trojans will play three road exhibition games before playing a 12-game non-conference slate. Of USC's 12 non-conference games, six will be played at home in the Galen Center, four will be at neutral sites and two will be true road games. All told, 10 of the squad's games will be played in the state of California.
Fans can place ticket deposits at the USC Athletics ticketing website. Season tickets will go on sale Sept. 8. Tipoff times and broadcast information will be available on the men's basketball team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
USC begins the exhibition slate with a neutral-site matchup against North Carolina in Greensboro, N.C. on Oct. 9. Then the Trojans will travel to San Diego twice: first to face the UC San Diego Tritons on Oct. 17, and then to face San Diego State on Oct. 23.
The Trojans officially begin the third year of the Eric Musselman era at home against Milwaukee on Nov. 2. From there, USC will have a two-game road swing, starting with a neutral-site matchup against Wichita State in the inaugural 2026 Caesars Lake Tahoe Classic, held at the Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline, Nev. on Nov. 8. The Trojans then travel west to face former Pac-12 foe California on Nov. 11.
Midway through November, USC has a three-game homestand against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 15), Tarleton State (Nov. 19) and Louisiana (Nov. 22). Over Thanksgiving week, USC heads to the Coachella Valley to face South Carolina and Utah State in the Acrisure Palm Desert Classic, held in Palm Desert, Calif. from Nov. 25-26.
December begins with a road game at San Diego — Musselman's alma mater — on Dec. 8. USC will take on Texas Tech in the USLBM Coast to Coast Challenge at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on Dec. 13. To wrap up the non-conference slate, USC will host Jacksonville (Dec. 19) and Western Michigan (Dec. 22).

The Trojans will look to improve upon last year's 18-14 record with three returners, seven transfers and the No. 5 recruiting class in ESPN's rankings, which is USC's second-best recruiting class since ESPN started tracking that data in 2007.
