HIGH SCHOOL: Spektor attended Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla., where he was a four time Florida 1A state champion, including three times in the 100y fly from 2015-17 and another in the 200y IM in 2017, his senior season, when he led Bolles to their 30th straight state title … He was a FHSAA 1A Region three-time champion as well, twice in the 100y fly, once in the 200y IM …At the 2017 U.S. Summer Nationals, Spektor reached the C final of the 100m fly, finishing 23rd (54.51) … He was a 2016 Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100m fly and finished 108th (55.36) at the trials. … He was a part of two NAG record-breaking relays at Bolles, the 200y and 400y medley relays in 2014 … He was third in the 100y fly at the 2015 U.S. Winter Juniors and was a C finalist in the 100m fly at the 2015 U.S. Nationals.

2020:
- Spektor’s sophomore campaign included a 15th-place finish in the 100y fly (48.02) at Pac-12s to score for the Trojans. He was also 41st in the 50y free (20.82) and 44th in the 100y free (45.77).
- His top finish at the Art Adamson Invite was a sixth in the 100y fly (48.00), posting a season best time.
2019:
- Spektor was a Pac-12 scorer as a 2019 freshman, finishing 15th in the 100y fly (47.64) at his first conference championships (following a PR 47.03 in prelims) while taking 18th in the 200y IM (1:47.93).
- Finished 19th in the 100y fly (48.07) at the Texas Invitational.
- Was fourth in the 100m fly (53.71) at the 2019 Los Angeles Invitational.
