THIS SEASON: Mitch Embrey enters his final season of competition at USC.
2016: Embrey scored eight goals as a redshirt junior... Scored in five games with two multiple-goal outings.. Matched his career high with a hat trick vs. Cal Baptist on Sept. 3.
2015: Embrey scored 10 goals as a redshirt sophomore... Set his career high with three goals scored against San Jose State on Oct. 10... Scored in seven games with two multiple-goal outings.
2014: Embrey scored five goals as a redshirt freshman... First career goals came in a two-goal effort vs. Redlands on Sept. 7... Scored in three games with two two-goal outings.
2013: Embrey redshirted his first season as USC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Embrey was named the 2012 All-Area Player of the Year by the Whittier Daily News and was league MVP as a senior at La Serna High... A two-time All-CIF First Team selection, helped team reach three CIF semifinals and win the CIF championship in 2010... A three-time all-league first-teamer... Also was 2012 All-Area Swimmer of the Year and a member of two CIF championship relay teams... Played club for Foothill and FLO... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Embrey is majoring in real estate development... Parents are Mitch and Chris... Enjoys surfing, listening to music and meeting new people in his free time... Has always wanted to travel to Europe... Hopes to become a business executive after graduation... Born Sept. 22, 1994.
