THIS SEASON: After attending USC throughout her entire college career, Ines Guinard enters her first season as a women's tennis player for the Women of Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Guinard played #1 singles all four years at Davis Senior High School and was captain during her junior and senior seasons….Named All-League CIF Sac-Joaquin Section all four years on varsity...Competed in the CIF finals in 2009 and 2012...Ranked No. 18 in Girls 18s in Northern California by USTA in 2013 and ranked No. 20 in Girls 16s in Northern California by USTA in 2011...Was named an AP Scholar with Distinction as a senior in 2013...Played two years for Club de Tenis Chamartin (Madrid, Spain).
PERSONAL: Ines Paola Guinard was born on June 26, 1995, in Davis, Calif....Daughter of Cristina Martinez-Carazo and Jean-Xavier Guinard...Has lived in Spain, France, Italy and the United States and is fluent in all four languages...Would like to visit Cuba, Morocco and Argentina...Has always wanted to attend all four Grand Slams...Named a Trustee Scholar, which is only awarded to 50 students at USC...Selected to the Dean's List...Member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority...Majoring in industrial and systems engineering...Has accepted an offer to work as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
