Bio
THIS SEASON:
Freshman Gabriel Morin begins his first season for the Trojans competing in the middle distances.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Morin attended Loyola High School in Los Angeles, Calif. In 2014, he had six top-five finishes, including a second-place finish in the 800m race at the Mission League Finals. Along with a third place finish in the 1600m at the Mission League Finals in 2013, he posted five top-five finishes in the 2013 season. He also competed in cross country for Loyola and had a 3-mile best of 15:23.02 to place seventh at the Rosemead Cross Country Invitational. Finished ninth in the CIF-SS Division Preliminary Rounds with a 2.93-mile time of 15:35. Placed 42nd at the CIF State Cross Country Championships with a time of 15:55 on a 5K course.
PERSONAL:
Gabriel was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on October 25, 1996 to parents Robert and Rebecca Morin...Morin, majoring in aerospace engineering, has three siblings: Anthony, Sierra, and Isaak (also attended USC)....Lists his hobby as ping pong...Says his favorite move is Lord of the Rings and his favorite food is cheeseburgers.
