Kat Stolpa is working her way back to health after two torn ACLs. 2006 JUNIOR SEASON
Stolpa suffered a torn ACL in her other knee during the preseason of her junior year, forcing her to redshirt the year in order to heal and rehab the injury. 2005 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Stolpa returned from an ACL tear to step in as another reliable defensive back for USC in her sophomore year... Appeared in 17 games and started the first eight... Scored her first career goal on a sharp header in what proved the game-winner in a 4-0 win over UC Irvine on Sept. 4... Also had an assist in a 3-1 loss to Penn State on Sept. 11... Took five shots on the year... Received Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention... A Marks Scholar. 2004 FRESHMAN SEASON
Stolpa started 17 of the 18 games she played in as a freshman... Registered one assist, which came in an Oct. 10 win over Oregon State (2-0)... Took five shots, two of which came in a 4-1 win over Mississippi State on Sept. 10... Played the full 90 minutes in seven regulation games, and went the distance into overtime against BYU (Sept. 16) and Washington (Oct. 15)... Suffered an ACL tear early in the final game of the season. HIGH SCHOOL
Stolpa earned All-DeAnza League first team honors three years at Palo Alto High... Earned DeAnza League Most Valuable Player honors as a senior, as well as All-Central Coast Section first team honors... Received team offensive MVP honors in her sophomore season... Member of the three-time DeAnza League champions... Competed in track on the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams... Played four years with the DeAnza Force club team...
